Someone once asked...

“I’m a college student in my 2nd year. It’s just the 2nd week of it, actually. I find myself feeling lonely very often than I’d like to admit to anyone I know. I’m close with my roommate, another friend too but sometimes I feel the need to keep away from everyone else. I love reading but I don’t have the will to do it. I haven’t spoken to my mum in 3 days because of how tired I was of her assumptions and allegations regarding my “declining interest in studies”. I’m in med school and I’m honestly done. A week of college feels like a month in here.”

Hey i know how this feels... having friends and still feeling lonely you can make some online friends if you don't feel like sharing things with offline ones. Dont worry this feeling will pass soon btw you're living someone's dream...med school and all. Dont mind your what your parents say they just want the best for you but they dont know a better way to show that.
