Someone once asked...

“i’m 23, Burmese, living in Japan because of the war, and I’ve been carrying a loneliness that comes from not being known, keeping everything light at work, not telling my boyfriend how bad it is because he can’t hold it, and feeling like I’m not allowed to need anyone , along with grief over two abortions I don’t regret but still carry, a question I’m afraid to say out loud about whether I deserve a child, exhaustion from always asking for things and never receiving them, guilt whenever I enjoy something, and a school–work–bed loop that doesn’t feel like mine; how do I begin to believe my own life is worth showing up for and how do I stop waiting for one person to give me what I’m not giving myself?”

Please go see a therapist. Or tell someone, anyone, about what you're feeling. I can't relate to what you feel but keeping everything bottled up will only make things worse. Trust me, I know. Go seek professional help or tell someone. Write it if you want

Therapy, speak up. Stay in the dark forever and the darkness will consume you. If you don't deal like talking, write it down or text someone. I personally do not know you or know how to help you but someone (A PROFESSIONAL) might.

You are still allowed to need someone, and you deserve happiness no matter what. maybe try spending a little time on self care, just simple meditation or a hobby you enjoy. think about what it is you need, and try to take small steps towards it. remember all of your good memories, and think of how many more you can make.
