Someone once asked...

“im 20 years old, indian and a girl, and in college, haven't earned a single penny my whole ife, from a conservative indian family, parents are talking about how im next to get married since the one cousin older than me got engaged today (they had been talking about marriage and stuff since i was 12 years old and today they went overboard) told me i have two years and if im not doing anything with my life, the only option would be to get me married. i havent told them i dont like men at all, and cant tell them because well, they're conservative homophobes and im financially dependent on them. i do graphic design for love, know ui ux design and wanna move away from this country while becoming financially independent so that when i finally do come out to them, i dont have to worry about my safety (because yes, if i stay anywhere they can reach, it will get that bad). i've got six months until graduation, what do i do?”

Work on your graphics design skill, make it market relevant, get a job asap. Don't look at the money whatever offered just accept. Just be sure it covers your basic expenses. Then you can try to go abroad while doing that.
