Someone once asked...

“idk how to process this pls help me out so i have a good set of friends, luckily in every phase of my life from childhood high-school and now in my uni as well, i somehow get one good friend though i dont have like a very big friend group i have got real ones im happy for that. but the thing is i grew up in a toxic house”

Someone answered with kindness...

I didn’t understand your question very well. I am happy that you got some real friends, that’s your biggest treasure, cherish it and hold them tight. And about your family, i too come from a toxic dysfunctional family. You gotta move out of there and make a new family out of people you love, thats the only way. Im sad that you don’t have a supportive family, it hurts. But there is a future awaiting you with great people and a family you are gonna get, you got this twin. Proud of you. Again, you don’t need a really big friend group, trust me you only need the few real ones with you.

Having real friends like that is a good thing, even if the group is small. Growing up in a toxic home sticks with you and it's okay if you are still figuring out how to deal with it. If you want to tell us more, I am listening.
