nothing genuinly, love shouldnt be that hard if youre contemplating it and thinking about risks, if he cherishes ur friendship you wouldnt think that your frienship is on the line. if you want to keep the frienship, dont say anything to him,

Friends are more likely to be a better couple. Sit down, talk to him. Tell your concerns. Speak to them. If you happen to stop being friends after that - perhaps it's because he wasn't a good friend and person after all.

I actually went through a very similar situation with my now-boyfriend (he had rejected me a year prior to us getting together ). I would say assess your current relationship with him and go from there. Definitely don't hesitate to ask him out, but set your boundaries and say that you want to stay friends either way. You've got this, and either way you'll be okay.
