Eyes do lie. I have first-hand experience with this. I got to know after 2 years that he was disgusted with me but why would he look at me if he couldn't stand someone like me? So even eye contacts can mean nothing to one party.

well, as a guy who used to like give eye contact, i can give u my piece of mind, IF a guy does not AVOID eye contact, instead seek it, like in ur case, he is GENUINELY INTERESTED in you, BUT due to high rejection rates by girls he does not make a move, rather in my way, he IS making a move by looking at you. THIS is green light for you to make a move!!, send a insta request at start, and trust me, it makes ALL the difference, talking in school is awkward cuz other ppl listening too, but online it is PRIVATE as heck!, so do it!! and as for him saying it was 'TIMEPASS' it was NOT! when the boys group find out about such thing, trust me they FRICKIN lose it, i remember we used to make fun of a guy in our class like tht, we used to call him by the girl's name AND the girl by his name, it sometimes got to some beatings for NO APPARANT REASON AT ALL for him, and trust me, we dont let ANYONE of the girl's circle know!! so the guy U are talking about said all tht to avoid this type of treatment, BUT if it turns mutual its FINE, if the guy gets rejected he is TROLLED A LOT, so just make the online move, send some reels banter and you will have his attention!, the REAL playboy type is the guys who make BOLD moves right at start of meeting you, the guy who consistently kept it up for years is usually a decent fellow, so I'd say GO FOR IT!!
