Someone once asked...

“I think I might have a personality disorder, and it's impacting my relationship. For the past month or so, I've been in this state where I always feel like there's a pit actively being dug up in my stomach. It's almost as if I've become incapable of feeling anything other than despair. Because of this, I've been sort of incapable of feeling love the way I used to as well. I tell my partner that I love them but I can't get myself to feel those words when I say them anymore. So should I consider ending things? But I'm scared I'll end up regretting that if this despair is temporary. Like I don't have a valid basis to end things other than I've become incapable of feeling. What do I do?”

Someone answered with kindness...

I think you have been going through a lot of trauma and despair. I think you should start being more kind to yourself. Of course you are capable of giving love and receiving it . Whatever you say to yourself, how you think is very important as it shapes your reality. Let's say compliment yourself, give yourself some credit. Take time out in your day to spend it with yourself, doing things you love. When you actively start filling your cup with the love and kindness you give to yourself. That shows. As a result you can also reciprocate love to your partner as well. I will say please address your emotions. Why you feeling this. I won't say to end relationship over this issue, I would suggest to spend more time with your partner doing activities you both like and communicate. And I wish you all the happiness.
