Someone once asked...

“I sometimes feel too hollow, empty, incomplete. I just want to hold somebody and let go of my worries. I lead a happy life, I have friends, family, job and my basic needs are met. Somedays I feel I am at the top of the world, a social beast, an intellectual prodigy, I am alive. Other times I just feel incomplete. I don't know if it's a partner i crave or a career goal I have yet to achieve that haunts me. But it's not a good feeling.”

Sounds like you need to feel like youre part of a community.

It's not a career goal, you're craving for a purpose or something to do that you could dedicate yourself into. Art, music, mathematics, biology, pottery or anything literally. There are things that are basic goals ie. a family and a good career but beyond that the possibilities and needs are completely different. Experiment and look for opportunities, don't sit still too long my friend and i wish you all the best in your search of your true self

Maybe right now, things are too predictable. Having a routine is important, but being able to break free of that and do something fun can be important, too. Sign up for, or just do, random activities in your town (teach a class at a library, become a volunteer somewhere, go to some random town/club meeting, etc) when you have the time. Going travelling, even if it's just for a day to a place thirty minutes away from you, can also potentially help you escape this feeling. Just do something outside of your normal routine, something fun! Good luck!
