Someone once asked...

“I only have 3 close friends in college. In my college we are divided to groups and one of those friends are in my group. She is male centered and attention seeking. I don't like her. She is very selfish and only care for boys. Out of the other two, one is very evil, hurts my feelings and very competitive with me as I'm the highest achiever in the friend group. Other one is also attention seeking but a tiny bit good. I have to stay in the same dorm room with one of them for the next 3.5 years. I don't know what to do. The evil one hopes to be with me in the same room. My vibe only matches with them out of all the batchmates. I need tips to survive please. I'm a med student.”

Heyy it's definitely your free will to make new friends, it's not hard to approach people you aren't friends with yet, it's just your mind keep thinking "they might decline" "they might respond rudely" but trust me, students aren't that bad. You got this!! And also you should not take everything from those toxic friends of yours, if you give them attention if what they are doing they might do it more!!

I think it's better to stay alone rather than staying w such people, look if u don't like them js leave, or mb js set boundaries, it's very important, and try to make few other friends, vibe doesn't matter, try to talk to others, get to know eachother, n get close w someone who is actually reliable for u, that's must in a university. Because having a bad circle might cost you a lot
