“I have an important competitive exam in about 1.5 months, but I’m currently going through a difficult emotional phase. And 1.5 months is quite less time.ive almost wasted a year ,first willingly then bcoz of emotional struggles mentioned below.
I’ve been attached and attracted to a friend whose inconsistent behaviour, trust issues, contradictions and dismissiveness have left me hurt and confused. Despite communicating my concerns, similar patterns have continued, and I often feel unheard.Earlier we were very close used to talk everyday.
I’m trying to distance myself, but detaching hasn’t been easy. I still miss him, overthink whether I’ve done something wrong because he isn’t reaching out, and question my decision. The uncertainty of whether we’ll ever talk again is eating me up, and I’m not even sure whether we should.
This has affected my concentration and consistency with studying. I feel torn between giving myself time to heal and making the most of the remaining preparation time.
If I skip this attempt, my next opportunity will be six months later. Should I give myself time to heal and prepare for the next attempt, or push myself to study and attempt this exam despite my current emotional state?”

Someone answered with kindness...
Is this exam something that you desire ??
If yes , then you can try to push yourself and study while acknowledging your emotional distress, just give yourself some time and then continue the study .
See if you don't give your fullest to this exam then you will feel more regret and it will lead to more emotional distress .
I had been in this cycle three times. I just gave up and felt all the emotional distress. And continued towards my goal .
I didn't give my fullest still as I got into this loophole of depression. But still I made it through .
You will feel more fine after doing great in exam .
I believe in you . Best of luck for your exams .

If he really cared he would have reached out by now and the fact you have uncertainty towards him and felt unheard should be enough for uh to move on. I know its hard but it's best for you. Trust me you will find your people
You should focus on your emotional state rather than exam .it may be important but not more than yourself .take your time to heal now, remember you have you whole life
