Use flashcards to study and memorize vocabulary and diagrams. Active-recall is where you write down whatever you know/remember from your lesson (and no cheating by looking at notes!) and then afterwards see what you missed, then repeat the process. Use that for remembering concepts as a whole and making sure you generally have an understanding of the topics. Teaching someone the topics you learned may also be useful in understanding and memorizing. It can also be useful to study with people. Try talking with your teacher/professor when they have time off to see what you may have been missing in previous exams/homework assignments/quizzes. Form a study group with classmates/friends, where you guys study together and hold each other accountable for what you should know. If you can, you can even get a tutor for chemistry to help you on a more personal level. Chemistry is really hard, and lots of people struggle with it lol. Don't be discouraged, you can still turn this around! Good luck!
