“I feel like, in this generation, true love has become increasingly difficult to find. As someone who prioritizes romance and dreams of a love that is genuine, deep, and everlasting, I sometimes wonder whether the kind of love I believe in still exists.
The thought of giving my entire heart to someone, only for them to treat my love as a joke, terrifies me. The idea of the person I love most being the very person who breaks my heart is enough to make my heart race with fear.
Every guy I've encountered seems to come with bad intentions or an immature understanding of love. To them, love seems to be nothing more than a temporary fling, a game, or something they can walk away from without a second thought. And it makes me question whether genuine love is still something people truly desire.
Perhaps it's because of all the romantic stories and videos I've watched, where a man loves a woman so deeply that she never has to question where she stands in his life. A love where his actions speak louder than his words, where his loyalty never wavers, and where she feels safe enough to give him her heart without constantly fearing that he'll break it.
I believe that love requires effort, commitment, and sincerity. I believe that when a man genuinely loves a woman, he will make an effort to understand her, choose her, and stand by her, even when things aren't easy. I want a love that is intentional, a love that isn't afraid of commitment, and a love that doesn't disappear when the excitement of something new begins to fade.
Sometimes, I wonder whether I'm simply a hopeless romantic living in a generation that has forgotten how to love. Am I expecting too much by wanting something genuine? Am I foolish for believing in a love that feels almost impossible to find?
But despite all my doubts and fears, a part of me still wants to believe.
Because I don't want to become someone who stops believing in love just because other people have failed to understand it. I don't want the fear of being hurt to rob me of the possibility of experiencing something beautiful.
So, my question is this: Should I still believe in love, even when the world keeps giving me reasons to doubt it?
sorry l used ai to make it a bit organized so sorry”

Someone answered with kindness...
I feel you , you're like me actually HAHA. Ofcourse you shouldn't stop believing in love cause what you're asking for should be what every person who wants to love deserve and I agree with you as people have made love like a joke and it surprises me a lot when I hear these terms like benching and all and it makes me question too like what happened to love , love was easy why it's so complicated these days. It's more tough to find someone who understands you ,do the same efforts as you and takes the relationship seriously than cracking a international level tough exam. But still , after all of these things, no one who yearn for a good partner whom they can truly love should stop cause love still exists , I'm sure there are people like you and me who wants a true love , a genuine partner and their date to marry person and I'm sure you'll find someone like that for sure ,just be patient, I know it's tough being patient and watching couples online and feeling sad but waiting is better than ending up with another immature person. I've also been in a relationship and did lots of efforts , made letters , cards , keychains and lots of other handmade gifts cause I didn't have money to buy like expensive gifts HAHA but yeah I feel like handmade gifts are much more expensive than gifts that are bought but still the relationship couldn't work. She was perfect , just the time wasn't and it's okay. Hope this helps:), take care!
