Thank god you freaked out and you should thank your bestfriend because he is a HUGE RED FLAG. Dating for an year and then proceed to talk about marriage..please. No one does that. That's some predator behaviour right there. He was just waiting for you to turn legal and boom "Let's get married" . Maybe he was already married when he was preying on you. And it's called preying because he was an adult and you were not. Thank your bestfriend honestly. Being blind in love and not hearing advice from your bestfriend is very COMMON when you think your boyfriend is everything. It feels like only you're right at the time and your bestfriend is trying to create distance between you and your lover but no, she just care for you and don't ever ignore bestfriends advice. Trust me, it can even save your life. Thank your parents for grounding you or else who knows where you've been rn. And no, I'm not saying all of this to scare you but it's just the truth
