Someone once asked...

“I don't know how to explain it, but I've become really emotionally attached to someone. He was my roommate, and somewhere between our everyday conversations, silly jokes, spending time together and little moments, he became someone extremely important to me. I started loving his presence, looking forward to seeing him and finding happiness in even the smallest interactions. I miss him more than I usually admit. Sometimes I just want to hug him, sit with him and experience the old days again. I know he might not feel things the way I do, and that's what hurts. His smallest gestures make me happy, but his silence or distance can ruin my entire mood. The truth is, I don't just want his friendship. I want him to be mine. I want to be someone he chooses, someone he misses, someone he looks forward to seeing and someone he feels emotionally connected to. I want to experience that closeness with him without having to constantly wonder what it means to him. I don't want to force him to feel anything or make him responsible for my emotions. But I wish he wanted me the way I want him. I'm scared of losing what we have, but I'm also tired of constantly wondering where I stand in his life. I want him in my life, not just as someone from my past or a friend I occasionally meet, but as someone who genuinely wants me in his life too. And perhaps the hardest part is that I don't know whether that's something I'll ever get from him.”

Someone answered with kindness...

Muster up the courage and ask him out you never know what can happen either way you'll regret by which I mean if you don't ask him out you'll regret of not asking out and if you ask him out maybe in future you'll feel like why did I ask him out to sum it up I would say just go with it life's too short to think too much about it
