Someone once asked...

“i don't know how to communicate well, when speak am kinda lost”

✦

Someone answered with kindness...

Communication, like many things improves with practice. If you can find low stakes situations where you can work on speaking more frequently, you can get better with less pressure. Holding mini-conversations with servers, bartenders, cab drivers, or other people you encounter briefly throughout the day can give you more experience without much risk if things don't go as well as you would like. It's also helpful to keep in mind that people tend to be more forgiving than you might imagine them to be, especially people who talk to strangers all day for their job!

I feel you. I communicate much better textually than speaking. I can't even form the right phonemes, remember the right words, or make grammar work the way it should. It's okay. You have a lifetime to practice, and there are other ways to communicate other than verbal communication.

no worries, I feel like that too often. It's like the ideas in my head don't get delivered in the words I want to and then it changes the meaning of what I ment to say. I find that practicing speaking without any brakes, when I'm alone and just say my train of thought, helps me speak more clearly
