“I don’t know how people deal with losing someone they’ve spent years loving. It’s been almost a week since my girlfriend and I broke up after three years, and honestly, I’m having a much harder time than I expected.
What hurts is that I saw the relationship slowly becoming one-sided, but I kept hoping things would change. I was always the one trying to make plans, start conversations, spend time together and keep the connection alive. Even the smallest bit of affection sometimes felt like something I had to ask for repeatedly.
Eventually, it ended, and now I’m left with all these feelings that I don’t know what to do with. I know I wasn’t treated the way I deserved, but that doesn’t stop me from missing her. I still look for her in my everyday routine, still think about telling her things, and still wish I could talk to her.
I’m okay when I’m occupied, but the moment I get into bed, everything comes back. Three years is a long time to suddenly leave behind, and I feel like I’m struggling to accept that someone who meant so much to me is no longer part of my life.
I don’t really need someone to tell me to hit the gym or focus on my career. I just want to know how you get through the part where you know you need to let go, but your heart still refuses to.”

Someone answered with kindness...
I feel your pain man. what I felt is that memories are crazy we only remember the good part or the starting phase of relationship but should accept that it's good to let it go.
What I suggest is to believe something good is comming, find a new hobby and especially travelling can help
Avoid rereading old messages and the part you need to get is that it's nobodies fault when a relationship is broken
When the memories come accept it's natural and not force it away
Yaah.. thats it mate hope it helps
And i would like to know you more as a person or friend my insta idk69755
