“I dated someone 6 years back, then broke up due to obvious reasons. He insisted for friendship after breakup and i was not matured enough to say no so i got convinced. All these years for 4-5 years he considered me as a friend but his actions never matched . I was his priority at every single time. When i used to ask who am i to you he always said a friend. I always had a doubt. Now he has realised his self worth and everything and he distanced himself. He used to say i will never, i will always be here for you and all sudden he realised his self worth. I found literally no point of chatting daily with him and this year i was busy as well so i asked him to give me some space and this happened. I genuinely started considering him as my friend literally. But now .. if someone i know from 6-7 years can do this anyone can change in a minute i guess.”

Someone answered with kindness...
Yeah... it must hurt, since you built a genuine platonic connection with him. And even if some decisions might have been wrong, he was there for you, you felt loved and cared for, that going away so abruptly will make you feel empty. But it's better to have a friendship where you have clear boundaries and no other intentions. And I feel like from the beginning he had some romantic intentions so this was bound to happen someday.Just be glad for the good time you had and move on from it. Find better people or reach out and connect with the ones you already have. You are free now. Take care♡
