“I am very scared of being morally corrupted like use using ai or buying couture fashion pieces i want to work in fashion but dont want to work or promote animal testing companies or buy them but i really love fashion and makeup. I am cs student and to understand something very accurately i use ai to learn for interviews or to pass my exams but i do not like harming the environment i genuinely fight with these thoughts daily i dont know what to do or how to control them”

It’s a good thing for you to have these thoughts. I also feel the same way as you, you’re not alone. It’s a difficult time to be present in especially with these fast growing markets out there. The only advice I would share as someone who feels guilty on using AI is that there’s a website called ‘Ecogpt’ (I think) and they basically plant a tree for every ChatGPT prompt generated. I know it’s not the best thing but it seems better than using ChatGPT. For fashion and makeup industries that are heavily in animal harm, you should always strive for clean products. Hopefully in the future we can get sustainable solutions.
