Someone once asked...

“I am having a new classmate and I am in this particular Balkan school in which literally if you show a sign of being slightly different let's say liking other things, being much more sensitive and quite than others then you are immediately an outside or a loner because if you don't manage to make friends in the first week or two you are a lost cause. And I am a lost cause because I did not manage to find proper friends from my grade—i have only one friend that is older and I literally see one time a week in our Arts Club. And that new boy is coming on the upcoming Monday and I want to be friends with him because judging of his profile picture and MY MOTHER'S research on HIS MOTHER's Facebook account judging by MY MOTHER says—she definitely knows that woman and on top of that is a pretty kind-hearted and intelligent woman, that's why maybe her son is good too! But I really need help with how to approach him.”

Someone answered with kindness...

you have to find a point in common with him and in your case you're in the same class so ask for his book, manuel or something but don't give him back bc he will ask for it later. and when you give him back, ask for his name like you didn't knew her, the next day tell him that your mothers know each other but you're don't know where from then ask him to ask to his mother and with that you'll start to be friends if he wants to, hope this will help, and im curious so can you tell me the rest of the story on my instagram : Merlin_ncls have a good one

maybe start by sitting by him in class or at lunch? then work your way up to talking
