Someone once asked...

“I am a medical student. I work day and night in hospital everyday (even Sundays and holidays). I rarely get time for myself to pursue my hobbies or interests. I don't complain much most of the times. But sometimes when I really need it people around me (friends and family) never understand what I have been going through. Instead they ask why I am not spending time with them, why I am doing something else when I should spend time with them. All they say is you hardly get free for 1 hour and all you do during that time is your own stuff Instead of spending that time with us. At that point I feel like what is the point of all this. Like having a family, girlfriend, friends, etc. Sometimes I feel to drop everyone and everything and just be emotionally numb. Go out with girls, be happy in that moment without any commitments. Slowly I am starting to understand why medical people cheat so much !”
