Someone once asked...

“I am 18 years old currently enrolled in humanities stream ( 12 grader btw ) i thought of preparing for clat but wasted a year now i am thinking to take a drop but i feel like i am too old”

Someone answered with kindness...

You aren't too old btw I have this girl who is married 23 still preparing for neet yk it's never tooo old or late you can always start so dw remember living under the weight of regret is much heavier then living with a thought I'm too old you might be only 18-19 you have just beginned so shush and go ahead for clat

Take the drop. I started education at a young age. I'm in 2nd year of my college and I'm 18 years old. I wanted to take drop year of 1 or 2 but I didnt cuz I thought I'll be behind. But later I regret alot. I felt like I wasnt there for me when I should listened to myself. Remember one thing, Its your life so how can you be behind? And Age is nothing. Its better to do what you like and try than just do what others are doing thinking you're old. I'll say if you're preparing for any exam then just attempt it 3 times. By then you'll know what you love and you'll understand your "why" I'll be rooting for you ♡

You're never too old for anything, take my word for it, even though it gets harder or people notice, you can always try your best to do what you can even if you're too late for it this time, just do put in effort and try to find a simple reason why you want to work towards a certain goal. I've taken a drop aswell, and I wish you the best, please if you do take a drop, don't stay cooped up at home, get out in the sun, pick up something to do for fun, or even try studying outside!! There's so much more to living than an exam (Though persistent parents/older people may argue otherwise), their limits are not your limits, try again, don't be discouraged!!

Hey buddy !! Same here I am also in 12 th enrolled in humanities and trust me I know how you feel because society already had so many assumptions and now taking a drop year feels like a lot like !! But trust me on this if you really wnat to a lawyer or to prepare for clat do it !! Beacuse society is not you they don't know your feelings and ambitious but you know yourself so figure it out and do what's in your best interest and don't I repeat don't measure yourself or your achievements from people around you do things at your speed because doing it is enough already and ik you will achieve great things and be happy because it's never to late to start and for now tu we are very young so it's ok to start over or not knowing what to do just keep going and you will get where you wnat to be !! I hope you achieved your dreams bye stranger

ah this is so common, i wish i could go back at 18 and change my decisions too but what you are thinking is definately in wrong way, you can start preparing for clat right now as well see the results might vary but you still have a chance right, give clat, slat, cet of any specific state, im a law student too, and trust me taking a gap year is sucha bad idea you would regret taking gap year too, start your journey as fast as you can, because this time would never come back, imaging you wasting one year in gap then you will be already 1ry older than your classmates, and you would regret taking that decision till ur graduation, so do what is possible in remaining time, dont take a gap year or else you would feel more shitty at home seeing your other friends getting into colleges and family is no less than enemy at such time
