academic crashout is real, i'm also the same age as you and have gone through the same. for me the problem was the wrong stream, i chose pcm, even though i knew i was not good in science just becuase it wouls open multiple door for me(same retarded story), and after 12th i didnt opted engineering and it was a good decision i think, i'm enjoying my 1st year, and i got to secure a seat in govt college, so i think that you should see if you like your subjects or just studying for passing
