Someone once asked...

How to stop feeling like I’m wasting my time whenever I’m not working?

Someone answered with kindness...

Another soul answered...

If you are at the stage in your work where the stakes are high, you're close to the culmination of years of effort, then it's understandable. If, however, it's just the relentless desire to work so you can feel permission to love yourself then it's a problem. The key differentiator is understanding if this is a temporary moment of great effort and a final mad dash for success or something more psychological stopping you from separating yourself emotionally from the outcome of your work. You can't operate at a high level forever. Great effort must occur at the right time, at the right moment. Spare yourself. And try to be more than just your work. But again, identify which applies to you.
