Someone once asked...

“How to cope with chronic pain and functional neurological symptoms?”

✦

Someone answered with kindness...

If you ever have the chance to spend some days in an true low-pollution environment, take it. Gotta be low indoors too (the less stuff there is, the better, because "normal" furniture and materials can be highly emissive). There are natural pollutants too! A farm is not necessarily low-pollution. Better if there is no excessive nature around :) If your chronic pain fades away, specially the neurological symptoms, you would get a clue about what is triggering those side-effects. It is much more common than what people think, but we only realize once we experience the relief. And if not your case, you simply got some relaxing vacations :)

I don't know. I've been lucky to have a functioning body all my life, and I hate pain, and my entire sense of identity is tied to my mind. I do know that people in my life who really struggle with pain have various coping mechanisms, such as having a sense of spirituality and music that means a lot to them. But honestly, nothing I could say would help. I wish you well.

I would suggest seeing a doctor.
