how should i move on from someone who i loved with my whole heart .. and while breakig up his ego came in the way, he could have easily saved our relationship but chose not to.. now he is liking my insta note and stories and sometimes i catch him looking at me.. its been 4months since we broke up.. we dated for 6 months.. should i still keep the hope of geting back?

Hey!, firstly sending you hugs :). I know it’s a very hard time period for you, and trust me I completely understand cause I'm going through the same thing as you. Honestly, it indeed is very hard for all us to move on from the person we cherish with our whole heart, and where u feel like, this person just gets you better than anyone else. To be honest, and sadly, a relationship cannot work if only one person wants it, no matter how good or precious it was. It needs consistent work from both sides , and if a person cannot put these efforts, or show up for you, i dont think they really want a relationship. I know it’s hard and sad to hear :(, but , what is meant for you will find you, when the time is right :). And if he is really meant for you, no matter what, he would come back for you , even after years!. So i understand the fact that, you still have the hope of getting back together, especially when u see him irl, but, this could only work out, with efforts from both sides as i mentioned. For now, you focus on yourself and to find your happiness again :), and trust me you aren’t alone.
