i think that your intuition is mostly a "gut" feeling a if deep down you know something not right/wrong but you don't necessarily have a reason for that feeling. your fear telling you to quit has a reason/an explanation (for example an another fear))

Im not even sure this is it but I literally recently saw a Pinterest post that feels adequate. It said “if you’re looking for reasons not to do it, you should do it. If you’re looking for reasons to do it, you shouldn’t do it” like if you need a reason to do it then maybe you’re looking for ways to justify doing it despite the warnings. If you’re looking for reasons NOT to do it, maybe then you’re trying to avoid doing it and justifying that. I felt the same way about getting into an institution after high school. I was really weird about the idea, like if there was a lump in my stomach and yet I was happy I got into something so close to where I was going to live. Then it turned out to be a dump (thank you female intuition🙃) to me intuition is when you feel something is threatening but can’t pin exactly why and fear is you know what’s going to happen and you will have to face it but you doing want to face it
