Hi! I'm kinda same tbh. But what I have learned is that if I keep pushing everyone away, no would every stay with me. I will be alone? I like being alone, but sometimes it can get lonely. And to answer your question well, give it some time. Acknowledge that this person really loves me, I should respect it. I get it if you have boundaries or don't like certain things. Be honest and transparent. Ask yourself if there's any reason why you don't like when people show that they love you. Is it commitment issues? or abandonment issues etc. Also if you are an avoidant like me, then please allow people to let love you. Let them be clingy, let them hug you. Not always haha, but once in a blue moon. Even they will feel good :)) I wish you well.
