I think love is everywhere. What matters is the perspective you look at it with. Saying 'some things take time' is the biggest cliché in the world, but unfortunately, it's true. I think the more you chase the love of your life, the more it will run away. Enjoy life. Travel, explore, have fun—the moment you learn to be self-sufficient and happy on your own, the universe will send someone to accompany you.

I don't know if this is an answer you want to hear, but I think finding happiness away from romantic love is the right answer. Learn to accept being without a partner; pursue your dreams, find new hobbies and interests, and hang out with the people already in your life. Find a way to make your life magical without the romance in it. Once that happens, you'll find that romance becomes slightly easier. It's easier to see and refuse what isn't right for you, and to move on from things that weren't meant to be. It'll also be easier for you to find when someone is right for you, when a relationship is worth your time and energy, and you'll be able to pursue it healthily.
