Someone once asked...

“How can I overcome my shyness and learn to talk to women? I'm an 18-year-old guy, and I'd like some advice on how to become more comfortable talking to women and, eventually, find a girlfriend. First of all, I'm not desperate to get a girlfriend. I'm not unhappy simply because I'm single, and I don't feel the need to be in a relationship just because other people my age are dating. However, I'd really like to learn how to talk to women naturally, overcome my shyness, and be able to give myself a chance of finding someone special when the opportunity comes. The problem is that I'm extremely shy around women, especially if I find them attractive. I struggle to approach them, start conversations, and show interest. I tend to overthink everything, and I often convince myself that they wouldn't be interested in me anyway. One of the main reasons for this is that I feel really ugly. When I look in the mirror, I struggle to like what I see, and I find it difficult to imagine a girl finding me attractive. I'm not saying that looks are everything, and I know that personality matters too, but it's hard to feel confident when you don't feel good about your own appearance. Another big problem is that I'm afraid of making women uncomfortable or bothering them. I don't want a girl to feel like I'm bothering her just because I've approached her or tried to start a conversation. I don't want to come across as creepy or make someone feel pressured to talk to me. Because of this, unless I'm almost completely certain that a girl is interested in me, I usually don't approach her. I end up doing nothing because I'm afraid of crossing a line or making her uncomfortable. I know that, realistically, I can't be completely certain that someone is interested in me before I even talk to her. But knowing that doesn't make it any easier to overcome that fear. When it comes to love, I think I'm quite romantic in my own way. I'm not interested in kissing lots of people just to gain experience, and I don't want to date someone simply for the sake of having a girlfriend. I'd rather meet someone I genuinely connect with, fall in love, and build a meaningful relationship. Ideally, I'd like to find someone with whom I could spend the rest of my life. I've only ever truly fallen in love once, with a girl I used to knew. Even though we were never together, I had feelings for her for years, and I haven't experienced that same kind of love with anyone else since. I can recognize when a girl is physically attractive, but for me, finding someone beautiful and actually falling in love with her are two very different things. I need a genuine emotional connection. Sometimes I wonder whether my expectations about love are too idealistic, but I don't want to force myself into relationships that don't feel right just to gain experience. At the same time, I understand that if I never put myself out there, I might miss opportunities to meet someone I could genuinely fall for. So, I would really appreciate some advice, especially from people who have struggled with similar things. How can I learn to approach women and start conversations without feeling like I'm bothering them? How can I become more confident when I feel ugly and struggle to believe someone could find me attractive? How do I show interest in a girl without making her uncomfortable? And how can I get better at talking to women without feeling like I have to be certain they like me before I even try? I'm not looking for tricks to make women like me, nor am I trying to rush into a relationship. I simply want to become more confident, learn how to interact with women naturally, and stop letting my fears prevent me from getting to know people. I'd like to be able to meet someone I genuinely connect with someday, and I feel that learning these things would help me, not only in my romantic life but also as a person. Any advice, personal experiences, or suggestions would mean a lot to me. Thank you for reading.”

This comes from a guy that hasn't struggle on making relationship with people. Not that I'm bragging, but maybe you can try compare what we do different that you can try out and experiment. First of all, it all comes from socializing. Making friends is easy. If you think its hard, with all the rejection, etcetc. its all in your mind. What you should weigh on is whether the person you'd try to talk to would have the same frequency as you (as in interest, what you know, your situation) all you have to do is struck a conversation. If it's working, then its working. If its not, then tough luck. You miss all shots you don't take. I never feel struggle on making connection because I simply involve myself around the people I think would understand what or how you'd be enjoying talking about. Now that's out of the way, you'd encounter most of the connection through that interaction. I find myself struggling with what people feel about me romantically. I find that if they do something signaling intimate or personal, then I know that they're interested in me. I think focusing on whether you'd like someone based on your first or second interaction is not a valid metric on whether you'd engage in a relationship with said person. If you enjoy yourself, love will find it's way to you. I've always never been the one proposing on the idea of relationship. One day when me and my girlfriend hangs out, she just blurted out that she has feelings for me and thats after i noticed the personal interactions. At that point, i already feel the same to her. So, feelings is something you grew overtime, not something out of expectation on first interaction. That also happened on my first relationship. Thats how i think making a relationship would work. I feel like based on the text, you're just scared of interacting because you'd make a goddess upset. They're also human like you; they're there to interact with people. We all functioning the same. If the conversation doesn't struck, then whatever. Your look doesnt matter. I look like wet concrete myself, but don't overlook it too. Dress yourself like a proper man. If they find you interesting, then you're good to go. Good luck with your ventures!
