Embrace. You will be wrong sometimes. That's all right; so say we all.

Extend. Seek counsel from others. From yourself. Learn how right you usually are; that you had to be, to be given the responsibility that you bear. See what the people who trusted you saw.

Retain. Humility is a needed skill in those who would lead, however so to is the will to act, which sometimes requires a willingness to take the wrong first step, and then pivot on the second.
