Ok so I totally get it ! But do not confess right now even if you arent in his department . I know the wait feels a lot but please wait till you graduate. Bcs if it doesnt go well it will change how you look at him forever. Also there are 50 50 chances of him being married or unmarried. Ask him subtle stuff to find out like maybe you can give him smth and say give your wife too and then you can know. Idk if this is of any help but I hope it does
