Hi. I would like to ask for help. I have a boyfriend—we are still in school both of us are loners most of the time just because we aren't in the same grade and people usually look over the two of us. He is autistic—he had been diagnosed since a child and loves Terminators but even though we planned to watch Terminators and then afterwards The Danish girl (my favourite film) at home he suggested it might be better if we actually try going out together (that was shocker for me considering her isn't the one to go out expect going to his arts lessons, school and then home)—in fact we are both socially awkward with him not trying to change saying "he likes his life the way he is" and the only place I am willing to go and actually about to feel comfortable is in the library of our town. We were in our dates at the museums in our town but we already went to every possible museum and know the artifacts, paintings and everything like the back of our hands and eachothers soul.

And I particularly don't want to make him uncomfortable with something that he might not like because he is really sensitive and when he gets in his times where he feels isolated and unwell I feel hopeless almost like I share the same type of pain as him even though I clearly don't.

That's why please give me some ideas for dates? I appreciate every idea that anyone gives him please just don't skip by me now.

hey!

so I personally love libraries and museums too! I saw you said he like the movie terminators and u guys watch movies so maybe going to a movie theater would be fun!

I don't know where you guys live but me and my family love going for walks or hikes around forests. if you guys have that around you maybe going for a walk around a conservation area may be fun.

you could also go to dinner together it would be a fun sit down place where you know you can talk and hand out.

you could go to a carnival or festival or even an amusement park!

if you guys prefer to stay in, it seems like you like art so you guys could try to recreate your favorite peices at home together or try something new and bake something maybe!

I really hope you have fun and update me where you ended up going!!
