Hey! First of all, don't overthink too much. Manual testing is still a good starting point for freshers, but I would say the market is a bit competitive nowadays. Yes, companies do hire freshers, but honestly, just learning manual testing concepts may not be enough to land a job. You should have a good understanding of SDLC, STLC, test cases, bug reporting, Jira, SQL basics, and API testing. Having some basic automation knowledge can also be an advantage in the long run. And about coding, you don't need to be an expert programmer to start with manual testing. But I would suggest not avoiding coding completely, because learning basic programming and automation will open up more opportunities later. My suggestion is, don't quit just because you're having second thoughts. Give yourself some time to learn, practise with real-time examples, and understand whether you actually enjoy testing. Is getting a job guaranteed? No. But is learning testing a waste of time? Definitely not, provided you keep upgrading your skills and don't limit yourself to only manual testing. All the best! Don't let overthinking stop you from trying. :)
