“Hey I have this really good friend and I became best friends with them since eighth. We were best friends forever since eighth. Our families are really close and we were like family friends. That's how we both became friends.
Then there was miscommunication among them. His friend insulted me in front of the class, as some of my other friends used his friend's name with mine. As a result my mom tried to ask him what happened. He thought that it was me who was trying to ask what happened, because of which he betrayed my mom. As a result we eventually distanced ourselves from each other.
Later in 10th we became good friends. Even my mom forgave him and did not complain about his incident to his parents because our parents were very good friends. He eventually felt regretful and now we became good friends.
But now he is sitting back because our teacher allotted different seats to all. Now there is this one girl who knows that we both are really good friends so she's trying to break our friendship by being closer to him. One time when I tried to sit with that girl just so that I could talk to her because I was bored and my bench partner was absent, she and he tried to make me feel that I was a left-out person. As a result I felt really bad.
Nowadays I feel that that girl is trying to break our friendship. Nowadays so many people are hating me because I am a class leader and i am shouting at them as I'm trying to make them quiet so I feel that he is also hating me. I just want to know if he is hating me or not. What should I do? Should I stay away from him because he is behaving very rudely to me or should I just try and confront him and try to talk to him about what he really feels about me and if i should be friends with him”

Someone answered with kindness...
I don't think you should be friends with this person because, let's be honest, he's not a small kid. You think he does not have his own brain? Is it that easy for anyone to manipulate him? And even if that's the case, why would you want to be friends with a person who does not trust and respect someone they've known since childhood? You might solve it now, but it can happen again in the future and again and again... What will you do then? Keep repeating the cycle? Obviously, no; choose your self-respect and ignore him and that girl.
