“Hey everyone just a quick reminder that this will be very long so plz have patience and read it
So I am a 2nd year btech student and recently I have attended a hackathon I had an idea which is like a application that controls your phone's notification like let's say uh are working and uh dont want any unnecessary notification to disturb ur flow So I have built this application that lets you chose the app and type of notification that uh wanna receive or not now coming to the main part this was my idea but the entire code base or the backend I used ai I didn't write a single line of code I just learnt and understand what ai written the basics so code how each aspect works and all that now I wanna work further on this idea and add it into my resume as my project so now as we generally know that during placement selections the interviewer will mainly go through our projects so be honest and tell me what might by my situation i am worried like is it correct to use ai for the code I dont understand how everyone bulit wedsites or apps or even companies with prompts without ever writing a single line of code
And now my second question on ny technical skills so see i am pursuing data science as my major so here is the thing most of the ppl suggest that acquire skills work on them like pick a language code in that learn that then networking then blah blah and all its like one way is like learn a programming language then api then dsa then langchains then others stuff now is this method is better or some ppl suggest that decide ur main agenda like for example if uh decide to be a ai engineering then get a road map of that how skills uh need for tht learn what uh need based on the role uh wanna pursue honestly I feel like second way is better but then I get to overthink that honestly which role is better”

1) it's fine to use ai code if it's not for a major or super important project because the code doesnt have to be perfect then. projects like yours are one of the few cases where i think ai is really helpful without drawbacks. you should be honest about it's use though.
2) you should pick the role you think youll be best at so you can do a good job
