“Hello, i live abroad..most recently i shifted frm my relatives house n strtd living in a frnds house for 3 months only thn i shifted to another place which idint tell my parents because they unnecessarily take alot of stress abt it n keep asking abt the updates regarding accommodation i wanted to sort out things by my own n not feed evey minute detail with thm..finding a gud accommodation is kinda tough here in US..so,tht relative had called up my mom n told to chk on me and my whreabts and suggested tht she shd be vdo calling me n chk if im lying..resulting in my mom calling my in the mrng to chk if im lying..thn my father n 2hrs of providing evidence tht im in a safe place only but kept it a secret frm thm..this is getting too much n its the second tym them getting involved lyk this..they dint evn cl me up ..they called home

Parents are gonna constantly keep worrying. Think of desperate fans that'd do anything to find what's going on in their idols life, thats way worse than what your parents are doing. Parents do it with worry, so understand their pov. But definitely dont accept their behaviour. Set boundaries, you're on your own now, you got to tell them that. It might be hurtful but it's for a better healthy relationship. I hope you get a good accommodation, mate. Ik studying abroad can be hard
