I have also gone with same thing. But regret now that I am not able to understand my feelings also tell her. But I think if you genuinely love you should tell her . She either say yes or no and if she thinks you best friend ahe will be after this also because loving someone is not bad things.

Umm actually we never had face reveal though, so the feelings I got for her is not kind of attraction or smtg .. tbh it started getting so high since last week she was less active and me just in that silence missing her and that's the point i started feeling for her
