Sometimes the love you hold for someone reflects back to you. I don't know you personally ofc but to me your description sounds more of a description of the love you hold for another person. Yes people are susceptible to changing that especially through the ups and downs of life. But true love really does withstand all of that. Now whether that true love is something you get from someone else is up for debate. But if you can give yourself that love you'd never have to stop to question if someone is truly capable of loving you. Enjoy the company of your partner, address problems as they arise, speak your feelings and thoughts to them.
